The top robot vacuums and mops that I tested had excellent navigation and mapping. They picked up Cheerios and fake dog turds, well as wires that were tangled.

1. Roborock S8 maxV Ultra

If you're searching for the most effective robot vacuum and mop combo that has cutting-edge features look no further than the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra. This top-of-the-line vacuum is fast and agile and picked up human hair and pet hair almost flawlessly in our Debris Pickup Test. It comes with a sleek application interface with a miniature map of your home and buttons on the screen for manual control.

Another notable characteristic of the S8 is its ability to alter its cleaning mode based on the amount of dirt it encounters thanks to its Dirt Detection Technology. It will clean its mopping pads more often when it encounters dust. Carpeted areas get priority for mopping using mopping pads that are damp.

It has a variety of other innovative features as well, including a different dock that connects to your home plumbing to wash and clean the mop roller without needing refilling it manually. You can also use voice commands to control the built-in voice assistant of the S8 that can be activated by saying "Hey Rocky" to specify the cleaning of your room, modes, and granular controls using just your voice.

2. Yeedi Cube

If you're looking for a hands-free robot vacuum that has mopping capabilities The Yeedi Cube is one of the more flexible choices. It's among the many combo robot vacuums with mops that are also priced lower than competitors.

As with most robovacs the Yeedi Cube also requires some work to get started. This involves setting up an account with the app and connecting the device to your WiFi network. Once you've completed that, the robot will begin vacuuming and mopping with ease.

It's worth noting that mapping takes some time and may take a few tries before the Yeedi Cube has an accurate picture of your space. The object detection feature is not perfect. It was able to maneuver around furniture and other obstacles but got stuck on a looser rug with tassels and had to flip over to free itself. But these are minor issues, and the Yeedi Cube is still a great option for those looking for an all-in-one cleaner.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete

The Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete delivers a three-in-one home cleaning solution. Its innovative mopping system uses a rotating motion that is similar to hand scrubbing. This means that floors are cleaned, not just being swept. The detachable stick automatic vacuum and mop robot is a game changer that allows you to reach areas that robotic vacuums aren't able to reach.

The model is basically the same as the popular X2 Omni, but with an increased suction power of 8700Pa and some additional clever features. The RGBD sensor upgrade is able to learn your home and offer dynamic obstacles avoidance. And the smart app lets you modify various settings, including scheduling, AI cleanings, and setting virtual boundaries.

The X2 Combo is also self-prepping by having both the robot vacuum as well as the mop returning to their charging base after each task to clean their pads and empty their dust bins, and place debris into bags that self-seal. This keeps the system tidy and also stops allergens from circulating. The battery's life is enough to remove large areas without the need for the battery to be charged mid-clean.

4. Eufy S1 Pro

As one of the more top-quality robot vacuum with mop vacuums and mop models that are available, the Eufy S1 Pro offers impressive features for the money. It features a powerful 8,000 Pa suction, a rotating floor brush for carpets and an excellent obstacle avoidance. It also has a unique mopping system, which utilizes a continuous roller doused with water to pull up dirt and deposit it in the dirty water tank.

Its navigation system was efficient. It avoided stairs and navigated close to walls without crashing. However, it did struggle with finely engrained debris and didn't always get rid of raised thresholds for rooms. Its operating noise level is also high, so this model may not be as easy to set and forget as other models.

The S1 Pro, like most robotic vacuums, is equipped with docking systems that allow it to refill its clean water tank, empty the dustbin and dry and wash the mop, and empty its mop pad. This makes maintenance easier and allows the S1 Pro spend more time cleaning floors in accordance with an established schedule. Eufy's application lets you manage all of its functions. It provides clear information and plenty of configuration options.

5. Freo X Ultra

The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum/mower is among the top mowers and vacuums available that are available. It offers amazing results when it comes to mopping and vacuuming. Its LIDAR mapping sensor is able to recognize furniture legs and other obstacles with a decent precision. The app lets users fine-tune map coverage, create zones that are not allowed to enter, and set cleaning preferences. The Freo's roller brush was designed to stop hair from wrapping itself around it. This is an issue with a lot of robotic vacuums.

The Mop Mode is impressive too and comes with Reuleaux triangular mop heads that spin at 180 RPM and exert up to 12N of downward pressure. The mopping system is also equipped with intelligent carpet detection, which lifts these pads upwards when they're close to soft surfaces to avoid contaminating them.

The docking station is an unmanned maintenance center that automatically washes and dries the mops, and refills them with detergent and distilled water. The base station also features integrated dust processing that compacts dust for 7 weeks of maintenance-free operation, unlike conventional robot vacuums which empty their dust bins every time they have to be cleaned.

6. S10

A few hundred dollars more than the S8 and this robot does an excellent job of keeping my office tidy and is able to take on the corners of my tight apartment. It uses laser mapping and a camera to build a map of your space and knows where to stay away from. And, unlike many vacuums that have mopping capabilities it detects objects and obstructions that is able to avoid things like bowls and dog toys (but not poop!).

Other amazing features include a self-emptying dustbin and a mop that is self-washing, adjustable for water temperature and an extended side-reaching brush that is able to reach areas that other mops miss. You can also set your own cleaning schedule in the app and customize the settings for each room in your home.

It comes with the same multi-room smart mapping feature as the S8 and can distinguish between laminate and carpets, with high-pile rug. It also lets you skip cleaning rooms that aren't dirty if you're looking to reduce time. If you have several types of flooring in your home and don't want to spend extra money on a Roborock with advanced mapping capabilities, this is an excellent option.

7. Q5 Pro

This robot is an excellent choice to consider if you're looking for a versatile robot that can do both regular maintenance and touch-ups for messy water stains. It comes with a wide range of features, including a self emptying dustbin as well as a dock that can be used for refilling water, as well as customizable settings via the app. It's extremely quiet, and it can maneuver around furniture legs and socks with ease. It's not able to remove the tangled tassels of rugs and it's battery drains slightly quicker than other models in our tests.

With a cost of less than $250 it's the Q5 Pro is a bargain-friendly device that packs powerful suction and handy automation into a sleek design. It wasn't as efficient as the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra in our vacuuming tests, but overall it did very well. It has a range of cleaning modes, from the quiet mode with low power which is suitable for small debris to the incredibly powerful Turbo mode for carpeted areas. It even has the ability to automatically remove and replace its mop pads, without getting your carpets wet.

8. K10 Plus

The K10 Plus is an excellent robot mop and vacuum cleaner that can be used in small areas. It's extremely quick and quiet and can maneuver tight spaces with ease. It also does a very good job of removing pet hair off carpeting.

It's smaller than its rivals however, it doesn't compromise any features. It has good suction power and can be programmed to take pictures of each object it picks (i.e. chew toys, socks), and mark them in the app as "not located', so that they are not taken up in subsequent cleanings. The photos are secured and aren't tied to your account.

It's great for vacuuming, but not as good at mopping. It makes use of disposable wet wipes that you clip onto the bottom of the bot, and it essentially drags them around your floor. Compare this to the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra and Narwhal that have water reservoirs that can automatically wash and reattach their mopheads.
