They also let you change suction power and fine-tune the amount of water and the scrubbing action of your mop.

A mapping function helps your robot navigate around rooms. A feature for avoiding obstacles helps it avoid running over furniture, wires or other toys. These are essential features for my house, stuffed with strewn-about toys.

1. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra

The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra is the flagship mop and vacuum, so it naturally comes packed with features. It can mop and sweep simultaneously, and lift its brushes or mop pads to ensure that soft surfaces don't get too wet. It also can avoid obstacles by spotting pets, plants, and other small objects.

The robot vacuum has a suction power of 6,000 pascals, which is higher than any other robot vacuum cleaner vac we've tested to date. It also has PreciSense LiDAR navigation that tracks its position, preventing it from getting stuck on objects.

Mopping capabilities are also impressive, with the S8 Pro Ultra able to apply a constant pressure of 6 Newtons to the mop pad for deep cleaning. It also has an automatic mop lifting system, that will raise the pad when it goes from laminate to tile hardwood, carpets and rugs to prevent soaking these types of soft surfaces.

The S8 Pro Ultra also has self-washing and self drying features. The pad can be washed and then dried with the dock and the dust bin will get emptied and automatically returned to it. This means that you can leave it in place and forget it, only having to change the dust bag or refill the water tank on occasion.

All of this is powered by a 5,200mAh lithium-ion battery. I tested it with its normal mop and vac settings for around 160 minutes before the S8 Pro Ultra started to be power-deficient and returned to its base for a recharge. This isn't far off from the 180 minutes Roborock claims and is on par other hybrids I've tested.

It's a well-rounded, capable product. The only downside is that it's expensive. The sheer amount of features make it a very attractive option for anyone looking to replace their old stick vacuums and mops. We highly recommend this model for those who can afford its cost.

2. Dreametech L10S Ultra

The Dreametech L10S Ultra is a top-of-the-line robot vacuum best vacuum and mop combination. Its price is justified by its impressive feature set, which includes an impressive vacuuming capacity as well as two gyrating mops. It also includes an app-based controller that is smart and a powerful obstacle avoidance system.

The L10S Ultra is one of the most expensive robotic vacuums and mop combinations out there with a suggested retail price of 999 euros. In my testing it was able to perform well in all areas of the home, taking out 98.4 percent of debris from all floors and managing to lift hair that is long without getting caught in. The mops were also great and produced excellent cleaning results with less effort than most mid-range models, due to their rotational motion as well as the powerful cleaning solution.

However, the L10S Ultra's main selling point is its innovative multifunctional docking station. The docking station emptys the trash bin into a bag for dirt, refills the water tank for mopping and even dries your mop pads. It also features a real-time safety detection system and allows you to schedule regular cleaning sessions with its intelligent controls.

Contrary to the other hybrid mops that I tested, the L10S Ultra doesn't offer advanced dirt pickup on carpets. Additionally it's not as capable at scrubbing away tough stains like those in the Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra, which is the most expensive model. Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.

Despite the L10S Ultra's many high-end features, it still requires regular care and maintenance. Its base station has to be emptied and the water tank and dust bag should be cleaned, emptied and dried regularly to prevent mildew and unpleasant odors. The mop pads sold separately will require changing regularly.

With the L10S Ultra's pricey pricing and its extensive features I would recommend it to anyone who has the budget for it. If you're on a tighter budget, I suggest a more rudimentary model that allows you to save money while enjoying hands-free cleaning at your home. It's important to remember that even it's true that the L10S Ultra is the best robot vacuum and mop you can buy but its high cost and maintenance costs will ultimately make it more of a wish than a need.

3. Eufy S1 Pro

Eufy S1 Pro is the robot vacuum and mop that you require to get rid of messes and clean dirt off your hard floors. This high-powered mop and robovac combo packs a strong suction force of 8,000 Pa as well as a massive battery that can be used for mopping and vacuuming and a top-of-the-line obstacle avoidance. It has a roller-mop that cleans by itself, making it stand out from other models which require you to return to the base station to wash the mop pad.

The S1 Pro uses a unique mopping system that is a big contrast to the microfiber pads and spinning discs that other robots. The roller covers the entire width of the robot, and it receives a constant supply of clean Ozonated, filtered water from the dock. While it spins, the roller scrubs your floors while soaking up dirt, and any dry debris is picked up by the side brushes, or swept into the front colision bumper. The S1 Pro then dumps the dirty mop water into its base station where it is sucked up by the tank's heating elements, and then pumped into a larger storage canister. The tank that is onboard holds plenty of water, and it can manage about a dozen mopping sessions before running dry.

Like many robotic vacuums and mop sets like the S1 Pro is ready to take it out from the box. It will need to be filled with clean water, however this is a simple task by cleaning the dock. If you'd like to use your own cleaner, you can add cleaning solution to dock. However, if you do select this option, you'll need to purchase the cleaning solution from Eufy which is more expensive than other robot brands that allow users to use their own cleaner of choice.

Like most robots that are available, the S1 Pro did well in navigation efficiency and coverage evaluations. It was quick to map a room, and it was able to navigate around furniture. The only issue is that it got stuck a couple of times on carpets with longer piles and rugs in my tests however this could be improved as the software is updated. The S1 Pro is an all-in-one robot that offers lots of features at an affordable price.

4. Roborock Qrevo

The Qrevo is Roborock's entry-level mop and vacuum but it does have several impressive features. The dock's multi-function function is emptying the robot's dirtbag, refilling its water tanks, as well as washing and sanitizing mop pads is performed by the dock. The mopping system is able to be able to clean a large area prior to returning to its dock. The vacuum's suction power is ideal for removing pet hair and debris on carpets.

The software that runs the appliance is complex, and offers various options for customizing the cleaning process. You can choose to manually start the full map and then clear everything that's been that the device maps, or you can choose specific rooms, expandable zones or even a schedule you've set up. There are a number of mopping options which include SmartPlan -- an algorithm that utilizes the mops' sensors to find the most efficient method to clean your home as it maps the area.

Like all the Roborock models we've examined, the Qrevo does well in our tests. Its navigation system is efficient, mapping rooms quickly and cleaning them in a well-organized manner. The 'Normal' setting for pathing does a great job of covering a room, with no gaps or missing areas. Reactive Tech's hazard-avoidance feature works well too, but it's not as sophisticated as the color camera systems on the Qrevo Master and the S8 Pro Ultra. It can identify dangers like thick carpets but it might not always recognize smaller things like rug tassels, or electrical wires.

This device has a major problem: it doesn't include a mop option after vacuuming. This could be a problem for people who vacuum frequently prior to using their robot. There's a simple solution to this issue: the app offers a feature that allows you to "clean up" at the end of each session. This allows you to use the mopping function of the vacuum to eliminate the last traces of dust and debris left behind by your vacuuming. This is a great feature that helps this robot keep its cleanness a bit higher than its less expensive competitors.
