The Best Twin Buggy
Built to grow with your family This inline double comes with different seating options and is suitable for twins or children of various ages. The foam-filled tires will never flatten, and its soft suspension is perfect for kerbs.
It's easy to travel because it folds super-flat and meets the weight requirements of gate-checks for airlines. It also includes a large storage basket under the seat, and an all terrain double stroller (
my homepage)-weather sun canopy with four panels.
Leclerc Influencer
The Leclerc influencer is an excellent option for travelers. Its sleek design, auto-folding feature and dimensions that are approved by the cabin make it a great choice. Its folded (and unfurled) width is 47cm. This is slightly larger than the IATA standard 45cm. However, it still is in compliance with the regulations for hand luggage of airlines. It can be kept in overhead lockers during flights (subject to airline approval). It was easy to clean using a simple wipe down and there were many extras available, including footmuffs, nappy and buggy organiser bags that strap onto the handles and hoods offering UV50+ protection.
We love the fact it's compact when folded down, and how it can easily fit into tiny spaces like shops narrow alleyways, and Jane's tiny terrace house and is even easier to manoeuvre up and down the stairs. The bumper bar also doubles as a handle. There's also a huge brake that is flip-flop compatible and has a colour indicator. The basket is smaller than some other models but it's big enough to take a decent-sized changing bag and there are additional traytrays for snacks, drinks and toys.
It is suitable for babies from birth. Adaptors are available separately to be used in conjunction with a Leclerc Baby Carrycot. For older children there's a backrest that flattens, making it ideal for nap times or extended walks. The 5-point harness with magnets is simple to use. It's also light at 6.6kg and comes with a travel bag.
Joie Evalite Duo
British brand Joie is dedicated to "sharing joy with new parents" by creating pushchairs that are "functional and fashionable". The Evalite Duo, their latest twin buggy, is Joie's most recent product. It's designed to carry two children side-by-side unlike the slightly heavier Aire Twin, and has raised stadium-style seating so both kids can see the world around them.
The Evalite Duo weighs just under 10kg and is one of most lightweight strollers for kids on the market. It's suitable from birth and is compatible with Joie car seats or carrycots (with the Instant Sure Lock attachment). It's simple to drive or ride, lift, and fold and the clever frame expands to fit the second seat.
Out 'n' about says the Evalite Duo's one-handed folding design is an absolute highlight. They were awed by the speed and ease with which the Evalite Duo comes together. However, they did notice that it's a bit more difficult to navigate bumps and rough terrain than other models.
The front seat can't fully recline, so parents needed to use their hands to lower it. This is something they'd prefer to avoid when traveling with small children. The Evalite Duo, however, is a fantastic stroller that could be made even better by a few tweaks. They also appreciate that it's compact and compact when folded!
iCandy Peach
iCandy Peach is a highly-sophisticated tandem buggy that provides parents with all the options they need. It's compatible with a wide range of car seats and folds up easily using a one-click mechanism. It also comes with plenty of accessories that other brands will charge separately like rain covers and liners.
iCandy's Peach pushchair is a sought-after choice for fashion-conscious parents thanks to its stylish and contemporary premium jersey fabrics. The 2022 version of the Peach has been upgraded with minor tweaks to increase efficiency and performance without sacrificing style.
One of the most significant changes to the current Peach is the addition of a ride-on board that makes it an ideal choice for twins. It's also a bit smaller than the previous Peach model, yet it still has all the space that your child could need.
It's the perfect double stroller for parents who need something that looks stylish and has a lot of versatility. It can be used as a
single and double stroller pram from birth and then buy a
double travel buggy kit to turn it into a twin stroller. It has a large basket as well as five reclining positions that ensure the best comfort for your child. It also has an integrated carry strap as well as a one-handed folding mechanism. The only issue is that it's somewhat heavy to store when not in use in particular since it folds into two parts rather than one.
iCandy Orange
This is the most comfortable twin buggy you can get. The seats are able to be fitted with liners and footmuffs to keep your children warm during cold weather. The carrycot is simple to attach with the gate-opening side flaps. It is comfortable and spacious. Orange chassis can accommodate 30 different combinations of the seats and carrycot.
The wheels are specially designed to tackle pavements and rough ground, and there's a large shopping basket beneath that is ideal for shopping at large supermarkets. The pushchair is lightweight and easy to drive. The round pedal brake makes it simple to use, but not for flip-flops. The latch that keeps it folded needs two hands to open. When it's collapsed the front wheels slide into the basket and the chassis is free to stand.
The Orange is best suited for style-conscious parents who have children or toddlers and want a buggy that'll be able to adapt to them. It's a good choice for parents who anticipate an additional child in the near future and need a
double pushchair that's adaptable. The iCandy Orange is not cheap but it's flexible enough that it will last for some time and also offer a decent resale value as well. It can also be used with buggy boards, which can help to reduce sibling squabbles over seats!
Mountain Buggy Duet
Mountain Buggy, founded by a New Zealander and is part of the Mokopuna Group, which also owns Phil and Teds and Baby Jogger is the first pram manufacturer to focus on two all-terrain pushchairs. The Duet side-by-side twin stroller is sleek and slim, able to fit through the doorways and move easily around tight shopping aisles. It is one of the smallest, most feature-packed double buggies on the market and has won numerous awards including 2014 Mother & Baby Twin Gold and 2015 Prima Baby Twin Silver.
The seats are narrow enough to let children of different ages sit comfortably together. They also have an independent reclining so that kids can choose their preferred position. The large canopies feature flip-out sun visors, and the storage basket is spacious with plenty of space. It accepts two infant car seats with the purchase of car seat adapters and is compatible with almost all brands which is a major advantage.
The only downside is the weight. It is heavy at 32.4 pounds and could be difficult to lift out and into of the trunk for Grandma. It's also more expensive than other double side-by-side buggies. However, it has been made to last and has a lot of features for the money. It's an excellent choice for urban parents who don't want to carry around a heavy stroller. The straps are padded, with a 5-point buckle, and straps with padding make it safe for babies.
Bugaboo Donkey Twin
The Bugaboo Donkey Twin is a beautiful, functional buggy with a classy design. It's a top-quality product, but it's not without its imperfections.
It's got very little in the way of additional conveniences for the kids and the parents. The only thing provided by the tiny side bin is that it is only available only when one seat in the car is attached. There are no cup holders, parent trays or accessory pockets. This could be a problem for long journeys.
The seats aren't very flat and the gap between the seats is large. Our 5-year-old was having trouble sitting back comfortably. It's unfortunate considering that it's a premium vehicle.
On the bright side, it's a breeze to maneuver and the swivel wheels work well at getting up the steps and slopes. It's also small enough to pass through most doors and folds up easily for stress-free storage and transportation. Plus, it can be converted back to mono mode with just three clicks should you ever need some more room or need to get away. The comfortable wheeled board is able to accommodate the third child should it be required. It's expensive, but if you're on a budget there are alternatives out there. It's worth it if you're a fan of the brand and have money to spend.
