Best Robotic Mop and Vacuum Combos
The majority of
robot vacuum cleaner uk vacuum-mop combinations can be customized using a specialized application. You can save your home's maps as well as organize cleaning schedules, and select the mopping mode you prefer. You can also alter the suction power, and the amount of water your mop uses.
A mapping feature can help your robot navigate through rooms, while an obstacle avoidance feature helps it avoid hitting wires, furniture, or even stray pet toys. These are essential features to have in my house, filled with toys scattered around.
1. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra
Roborock S8 Pro Ultra, the top-of-the-line vacuum and mop, is packed with features. It can sweep and mop simultaneously, and raise its mop pads or brushes to ensure that soft surfaces don't get too wet. It can also avoid obstacles by looking for pet toys, plants, and other small objects.
The robot vacuum's maximum suction power is 6 000 pascals. This is higher than any robot vacuum we have examined so far. It also has PreciSense LiDAR Navigation to track its position, which prevents it from becoming stuck on objects.
Its mopping functionality is also impressive and the S8 Pro Ultra able to apply constant pressure of over 6 Newtons to the mop pad for an intense clean. It also comes with an automatic mop lifting system, that will raise the pad when it transitions from tile to laminate or hardwood to carpet and rugs, thereby avoiding the possibility of soaking these soft surfaces.
The S8 Pro Ultra also has self-washing and self drying features. The pad can be used for rinsing and then drying within the dock. The dust bin will automatically empty and return to the dock. This means you can just leave it in place and forget it, only needing to clean the dust bag and refill the water tank every now and then.
All of this is powered by a 5,200mAh lithium-ion battery. The S8 Pro Ultra ran on its normal vac- and mop-settings for around 160 minutes before it began to lose power and returned to its base to recharge. This is not far off of the 180 minutes Roborock claims and is in line with other hybrids I've tried.
This is a highly complete and robust product, with the only downside being the fact that it's costly. But, the sheer number of features makes it a appealing alternative for anyone who wishes to ditch their old stick vacuum and mops. We would highly recommend this vacuum when you can justify its price.
2. Dreametech L10S Ultra
The Dreametech L10S Ultra is a high-end robot vacuum and mop combination. Its premium price tag is justified by its powerful feature set, which includes the capacity to vacuum large volumes and two gyrating mops. It also includes a smart, app-enabled controller and a powerful obstacle avoidance system.
The L10S Ultra has a retail price of 999 Euros which is among the most expensive robotic vacuum and mop combos available. In my testing it performed well in all areas of the home, removing 98.4% of debris on all types of floors and able to lift long hair with no knots. The mops also performed well in delivering outstanding cleaning results with less effort than most mid-range models, due to their rotational motion and a strong dose of cleaning solution.
The docking station is the primary selling feature of the L10S Ultra. It's multifunctional and modern. The docking station emptys the trash bin into a bag that can be used for dirt, then refills the water tank for mopping, and even dry mop pads. It also features a real-time safety detection system and lets you schedule regular cleaning sessions using its smart controls.
In contrast to the other hybrid vacuum mops I tested and compared, the L10S Ultra doesn't offer advanced debris pickup performance on carpets. The mops on the L10S Ultra aren't as effective at removing stubborn stains as the Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.
Despite the L10S Ultra's numerous top-of-the-line features, it requires regular care and maintenance. To avoid mildew and unpleasant odors, the base station dustbag, water and tanks need to be cleaned and emptied regularly. They also need to be dried. It is also important to note that the mop pads, which are bought separately will need to be replaced periodically too.
With the L10S Ultra's pricey cost and robust features I would recommend it to anyone who has the budget for it. For those who are on a smaller budget, I suggest considering an easier model that allows you to save money while enjoying hands-free cleaning at home. It's worth noting that even if the L10S Ultra is the
best automatic vacuum robot vacuum and mop you can find but its high price and ongoing maintenance will ultimately make it more of a desire than a need.
3. Eufy S1 Pro
If you're looking for a robot mop and vacuum that can clean up dust and dirt on your hard floors, while cleaning up wet mess then take a look at the Eufy S1 Pro. This high-powered mop and robot vacuum combo comes with an impressive suction power of 8,000 Pa and a huge battery capacity to power both mowing and vacuuming and top-quality obstacles-avoiding. It even has an automatic mop that cleans itself while moving, which makes the S1 Pro stand out from other models that need to return to their base station mid-cleaning to rinse off the mop pad.
The S1 Pro uses a unique mopping system that is a significant contrast to the microfiber pads and spinning discs of other robots. The roller is nearly the entire length of the robot and it receives a constant supply of clean, ozonated filtered water from the dock. As it rotates the roller scrubs your floors while soaking up dirt, and any dry debris is picked up by the side brushes, or swept into the front colision bumper. The S1 Pro is able to dump dirty mop water into its base station where it is sucked up by the heater elements of the tank and empty into a larger storage container. The tank that is onboard can hold a substantial amount of water and can handle up to half a dozen mopping sessions before being emptied out.
Like many robotic vacuums and mop combos, the S1 Pro is ready to roll out of the box. It will need to be filled with clean water, but this is simple to do within the cleaning dock. You can also add cleaning solution to the dock if you prefer to have the option of using your own cleaner. If you decide to select this option you'll need to purchase the cleaning solution from Eufy which is more expensive than other robot brands that allow you to use your personal cleaning products.
The S1 Pro performed well in the coverage and navigation efficiency tests, as did the majority of robots. It was quick to map the space and navigated around furniture. The only problem is that it got stuck a few times on longer pile carpets and rugs in my tests however this can be rectified when the software is updated. The S1 Pro is an all-in-one robot that has many functions at a a reasonable cost.
4. Roborock Qrevo
The Qrevo is Roborock's entry-level mop and vacuum however it has some outstanding features. The dock's multi-function function is emptying the robot's dirtbag, filling its water tanks, as well as washing and sanitizing mop pads is handled by the dock. The mopping system can sweep a large area before returning to its dock. The vacuum's extreme suction is perfect for picking up pet hair and other debris from carpets.
The application that runs the appliance is quite complex, with a broad variety of options to personalize the cleaning process. You can manually initiate a full map and clear everything that's been that is mapped by the device or you can select particular rooms, expandable zones, or even a schedule you've set up. There are a number of mopping options, including SmartPlan -- an algorithm that utilizes the mops' sensors to determine the most efficient way to clean your home as it maps the area.
Like all Roborock models we've evaluated, the Qrevo does well in our tests. Its navigation system works well by quickly mapping rooms and cleaning them in a well-organized way. The default pathing setting does a great job of covering a room, with no major gaps or missing areas. The Reactive Tech hazard avoidance system is also quite effective although it's not as sophisticated as the color camera system of the Qrevo Master or the S8 Pro Ultra. It can detect hazards like carpets with thick padding, but might not be able to recognize smaller items such as rug tassels and electrical wires.
The machine has a major issue: it doesn't offer a mop after vacuuming. This could be a problem for those who regularly vacuum before using their robot. There's an easy solution: the app has an option that allows you to "clean up" at the end of every vacuuming session. This lets you utilize the vacuum's mopping capability to get rid of the last traces of dust and debris that are left behind by the vacuuming. It's a nice feature and helps the
robot hoover and mop clean up a little bit better than its less expensive competitors.
