Best Robotic Mop and Vacuum Combos
The majority of robot vacuum-mop combinations can be customised using an application designed specifically for the purpose. You can save maps of your home and set up cleaning schedules and select mopping modes. You can also adjust the suction power and how much water your mop consumes.
A mapping function will help your robot navigate around rooms. A feature to avoid obstacles helps it avoid running over wires, furniture, or stray toys. These are must-have features in my house, filled with toys scattered around.
1. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra
Roborock S8 Pro Ultra, the flagship vacuum of the company and mop, is packed with features. It's able to mop and sweep in a single session and can raise its brushes and mop pads to prevent soft surfaces from becoming too damp. It also can detect and avoid obstacles, thanks to the ability to spot pets, plants and other small objects.
The robotic vacuum's maximum suction power is 6,000 pascals. This is the highest power of any robot vacuum we have examined to date. It also has PreciSense LiDAR Navigation, which tracks its location, preventing it from getting stuck on an object.
The S8 Pro Ultra's mopping capabilities are also impressive. It can continuously apply pressure to the pad that is over 6 Newtons to give a thorough clean. It also has an automatic mop lifting mechanism, which lifts the pad as it moves from laminate to tile or hardwood to carpets and rugs to prevent the possibility of soaking these soft surfaces.
Additionally it is also the S8 Pro Ultra has self-washing and self-drying functions. The pad can be cleaned and dried in the dock and the dust bin is automatically empty and returned to it. You can set it and forget about it. It is only necessary to refill the water tank, or change the dust bag every now and then.
All of this is powered by a lithium-ion 5,200mAh battery. I used it on its normal mop and vac settings for about 160 minutes before the S8 Pro Ultra started to get power hungry and returned to its base for a recharge. This isn't far off from the 180 minutes that Roborock claims, and is on the same level as other hybrids I've tried.
It's a well-rounded, capable product. The only downside is that it's costly. The number of features make it an appealing choice for anyone who is looking to replace their old stick vacuums and mops. If you can afford the cost, we highly recommend checking this one out.
2. Dreametech L10S Ultra
The Dreametech L10S Ultra
robot vacuum and mop is a premium combination. Its price is justified by its powerful features, which include a large vacuuming capacity and two gyrating mop mops. It also comes with an app-enabled smart controller as well as powerful obstacle-avoidance technology.
The L10S Ultra has a retail price of 999 Euros, which is one of the most powerful robotic vacuums and mop combinations available. In my tests, it performed well across the house. It was able to remove 98.4 percent of the debris on all types of floors and managed to lift long hair without tangling. The mops also performed well in delivering outstanding cleaning results with less effort than mid-range models, thanks to their rotational motion and the powerful cleaning solution.
The docking station is the real selling feature of the L10S Ultra. It's multifunctional and sophisticated. The docking station emptys the dustbin into a bag that can be used for dirt, refills the water tank to use for mopping, and even dry your mop pads. It has a real-time hazards detection system, and its sophisticated controls let you schedule regular cleaning sessions.
Contrary to the other hybrid mops I test, the L10S Ultra doesn't offer advanced debris removal on carpets. In addition it's not as efficient in removing staining that is as strong as those in the top Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.
Despite the L10S Ultra's premium features, it still requires regular maintenance. To prevent the growth of mildew or unpleasant odors, the base station dustbag, water and tanks need to be cleaned, emptied and dried regularly. It is also important to keep in mind that the mop pads that are bought separately, must be replaced periodically too.
With the L10S Ultra's pricey cost and robust features, I would recommend it to anyone who has the money for it. If you're on a tighter budget, I would suggest a less basic model that allows you to save money while enjoying hands-free cleaning at home. It's important to note that even if the L10S Ultra is the
best robot vacuum cleaner and mop mop and
robotic cleaner and mop vacuum you can purchase, its high purchase price and ongoing maintenance will ultimately make it more of a wish than a necessity.
3. Eufy S1 Pro
If you're looking for a robot mop and vacuum that can remove dust and dirt on your hard floors, while taking care of wet messes take a look at the Eufy S1 Pro. This powerful mop and robot vacuum combo comes with a strong suction power of 8,000 Pa, an impressively large battery capacity for mopping and vacuuming, and top-notch obstacle-avoiding. It also comes with mop rollers that clean itself as it goes, which makes the S1 Pro stand out from other models that need to return to their base station mid-clean to wash off the mop's pad.
The S1 Pro has a unique mopping system that is a departure from the spinning discs and microfibre pads of other robots. Its roller runs almost the entire length of the bot and is continuously supplied with ozonated, clean water from its dock. The roller scrubs the floor while collecting dirt. Dry debris is picked up with the side brushes or swept into the front bumper. The S1 Pro dumps dirty mop water in its base station where it is sucked by the heater elements of the tank and emptied into a larger storage container. The onboard tank holds a good amount of water, and it can handle about half a dozen mopping sessions before going dry.
Like most robotic vacuums and mop sets The S1 Pro is ready to take it out of the box. The S1 Pro does need to be filled with clean water. This is easily done in the cleaning dock. You can also add cleaning solution to the dock, in case you want to have the option of using your own cleaner. However, if you do select this option you'll have to purchase the branded cleaning solution from Eufy, which is more expensive than other
robot vacuum cleaner uk brands that allow users to use their own choice of cleaners.
The S1 Pro performed well in the navigation efficiency and coverage tests, as did most robots. It was fast to map a room and it easily navigated around furniture. The only issue is that it was stuck a couple times on larger pile carpets and rugs during my tests, but this may be rectified as the software is updated. The S1 Pro is a very capable all-in-one robot for an affordable price.
4. Roborock Qrevo
The Qrevo is Roborock's cheapest mop and vacuum, but it has some outstanding features. The multi-function dock emptys the robot's dirtbag, and refills its water tanks, washing and sanitizing mop pads as they go. The mopping system itself is capable of cleaning a large portion of a space before returning to its dock, and the vacuum's extreme suction is capable of removing dirt and pet hair from carpets.
The software that runs the appliance is extensive, and provides many options to customize the cleaning process. You can clean manually all areas that this device maps or select individual rooms, expandable zone, or a custom routine you've designed. There are several mopping options, including SmartPlan -- an algorithm that utilizes the sensors on the mops to find the most efficient way to clean your home as it maps the space.
The Qrevo did well in our tests, like the other Roborock models we've tested. Its navigation system is efficient, mapping rooms quickly and cleaning in an organized manner. The 'Normal" pathing settings cover the room thoroughly, without any major gaps or missing areas. Reactive Tech's hazard-avoidance feature works well, however it's not as advanced as the color camera systems found on the Qrevo Master and the S8 Pro Ultra. It can identify dangers like thick carpets however it won't always detect small things like rug tassels, or electrical wires.
The most obvious flaw with this model is the absence of a mop-after-vacuum option that could be an issue for those who spend a lot of time vacuuming before cleaning with their robot. There's a simple solution: the app offers a feature that lets you "clean up" at the conclusion of each vacuuming session. You can make use of the vacuum's mopping capabilities to remove the dust and dirt that were left behind after vacuuming. This is a nice feature that lets this vacuum keep its cleanness a bit higher than its competitors with lower prices.
