Best Robotic Mop and Vacuum Combos
The majority of robot
automatic vacuum and mop-mop combinations can be customized with an application designed specifically for the purpose. You can save your home's maps as well as organize cleaning schedules, and choose mopping modes. You can also alter the suction power and fine-tune the amount of water and scrub action your mop makes use of.
A mapping function will help your robot navigate around rooms. A feature for avoiding obstacles will stop it from running into wires, furniture or even stray toys. These are essential features to have in my house, stuffed with toys that are scattered about.
1. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra
The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra is the top-of-the-line mop and vacuum, so it's a natural choice to be with a host of features. It's able to both mop and sweep in a single session and even raise its brushes and mop pads to stop soft surfaces from getting too wet. It can also avoid obstacles by spotting pet toys, plants and other small objects.
The robotic vacuum has a suction power of 6,000 pascals which is more than any other robot vac we've tested to date. It also has PreciSense LiDAR navigation that tracks its position, preventing it from getting stuck on objects.
The mopping capabilities of the S8 Pro Ultra are also impressive. It can provide constant pressure to the pad at over 6 Newtons to give a thorough clean. It also has mop lifter that lifts the pad automatically as it transitions between tile and laminate hardwood, carpet or rugs, in order to avoid soaking soft surfaces.
The S8 Pro Ultra also has self-washing, and self-drying features. The pad can be used for rinsing and drying in the dock. The dust bin will automatically empty before returning to the dock. This means you can just put it away and forget about it, only having to replace the dust bag or refill the water tank on occasion.
All of this is powered by a 5,200mAh lithium-ion battery. The S8 Pro Ultra ran on its normal vac- and mop-settings for about 160 minutes before it started to lose power and returned to its base to recharge. This isn't far off from the 180-minute time that Roborock claims and is at par other hybrids I've tested.
This is a very well-rounded and capable product, with the only downside being that it's expensive. But, the sheer number of features makes it a tempting option for anyone who wants to get rid of their old stick vacuum and mop. If you are able to justify the cost we recommend you check this one out.
2. Dreametech L10S Ultra
The Dreametech L10S Ultra
robot vacuum best vacuum and mop is an expensive combination. The premium price is justified by the powerful features, which include a massive vacuuming capability, as well as two mop heads that rotate. It also has an app-based, smart controller and powerful obstacle avoidance technology.
The L10S Ultra is one of the most expensive robotic
automatic vacuum cleaner and mop combinations out there, at a recommended retail price of 999 euros. In my testing it was able to perform well in all areas of the home, removing 98.4% of debris on all floors and managing to lift hair that is long without getting caught in. The mops also performed well, achieving great cleaning results with less effort than mid-range models, due to their rotational motion as well as a strong dose of cleaning solution.
However, the L10S Ultra's real selling point is its innovative multi-functional docking station. The docking station emptys the dustbin into a bag for dirt, fills up the tank with water to use for mopping and even dries mop pads. It is equipped with a real-time danger detection system, and its sophisticated controls let you schedule periodic cleaning sessions.
Unlike the other hybrid vacuum mops that I tested, the L10S Ultra doesn't offer advanced debris pickup performance on carpets. The mops on the L10S Ultra aren't as effective in removing stubborn stains as the Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.
Despite the L10S Ultra's many high-end features, it still requires regular care and maintenance. To prevent mildew or unpleasant odors, the base unit dustbag, water, and tanks need to be cleaned regularly, emptied, and dried. It is also important to keep in mind that the mop pads, which are bought separately are required to be replaced periodically too.
Given the L10S Ultra's premium price tag and extensive functionality I would highly recommend it to anyone with the budget for it. If you're on a budget I would suggest a less basic model that allows you to save money while still being able to enjoy hands-free cleaning at your home. It's worth noting that even it's true that the L10S Ultra is the
best robot cleaner mop and robotic vacuum you can buy, its high purchase cost and maintenance costs will eventually make it more of a desire than a need.
3. Eufy S1 Pro
If you're in search of a robot mop and vacuum that can clean up dust and dirt on your hard floors while taking care of wet messes, then you should look no further than the Eufy S1 Pro. This high-powered mop and robot vacuum combo comes with an impressive suction force of 8,000 Pa and a huge battery that can be used for both mowing and vacuuming and top-quality obstacles-avoiding. It comes with a roller-mop that cleans by itself which makes it stand out from models that require you to return to the base station to wash off the mop pad.
The S1 Pro has a unique mopping mechanism that is distinct from the spinning discs and microfibre pads that are found on other robots. The roller is almost entire width of the robot and is constantly supplied with ozonated, clean water from its dock. The roller scrubs the floor while taking in dirt. Dry debris is picked up with the side brushes or swept into the front bumper. The S1 Pro is able to dump mop water that is dirty into its base station where it is sucked in by the tank's heater elements and it is emptied into a bigger storage container. The tank that is onboard holds plenty of water and can handle about half a dozen mopping sessions before going dry.
The S1 Pro comes ready to use right out of the box as do most
robotic cleaner and mop vacuums and mops. It will need to be filled with clean water, however this is simple to do in the cleaning dock. You can also add a cleaning solution to the dock, in case you want to have the option of using your own cleaner. If you do choose to use this feature you'll have to purchase the brand-name cleaning solution from Eufy, which is more expensive than other robot brands that allow you to use your own cleaning products.
Like many robots, the S1 Pro did well in navigation efficiency and coverage evaluations. It was quick to map out a space and navigated around furniture. It got stuck on carpets with larger piles a few times during my tests. However this could be improved by re-updating the software. The S1 Pro is a very capable all-in-one robot for a reasonable price.
4. Roborock Qrevo
The Qrevo is Roborock's entry level mop and vacuum cleaner however it has several impressive features. The dock's multifunction allows emptying the robot's dirtbag, filling its water tanks, as well as cleaning and sanitizing the mop pads is handled by the dock. The mopping system is able to sweep a large area before returning to its dock. The vacuum's extreme suction is ideal for removing pet hair and other debris that accumulates on carpets.
The app that runs the appliance is quite dense, and offers various options for customizing the cleaning process. You can clean manually the entire area that this device maps or select individual rooms, zones that can be expanded, or a custom routine you've designed. There are a number of mopping options which include SmartPlan -an algorithm that makes use of the sensors on the mops to find the most efficient method to clean your home as it maps the space.
The Qrevo was a great performer in our tests, as all Roborock models we've evaluated. Its navigation system is solid it can map rooms quickly and cleaning them in an organized fashion. The default pathing setting does an excellent job of covering a space, with no major gaps or missing areas. The Reactive Tech hazard avoidance system is quite reliable, too although it's not as advanced as the color camera system of the Qrevo Master or the S8 Pro Ultra. It can detect hazards like carpets with thick padding, but may not be able identify smaller objects like electrical wires and rug tassels.
This machine has one major flaw: it does not include a mop option after vacuuming. This could be a problem for people who vacuum frequently prior to using their robot. There's an easy solution: The app offers an option that lets you "clean up" at the end of every vacuuming session. The vacuum's mopping capabilities to remove the dust and dirt that are left behind after vacuuming. It's a nice touch and helps the robot get rid of a bit better than its less expensive competitors.
