The Best Robot Vacuum That Mops

Noah Pinsonnault works as a product analyst for Good Housekeeping's Home Care and Cleaning Lab.

He tests and evaluates cleaning equipment. His focus is on robot vacuums, and mopping combinations. These multitaskers are an excellent option for those who wish to get mopping off their to-do list. Some of them have excellent mapping and obstacles avoidance. Some wash and refill mopping pads themselves for a hands-free clean.

The Eufy S1 Pro

If you're looking for a robot vacuum that also mop, this is the model to go for. It's smaller than other models on this list making it easier to navigate in tight corners and under furniture. It has a 220-degree lidar that combined with its 3D Matrix camera system gives it some of the best navigation and obstacle avoidance I've ever seen in a robotic vacuum. It has a hefty 4600mAh battery which lasts up to 170-minutes if mopping and suction are set to standard mode (it is able to run longer in turbo). It will even return to its dock to replenish its battery in mid-clean.

It's efficient and does a great job of cleaning my two bedroom apartment. It can vacuum carpeted rooms fast and hardwood floors in the living room, kitchen and hallways in just one sweep. Its 8,000pa suction motor will quickly pick up sand, dirt and pet hair. Carpet detection automatically boosts power when it encounters rugs and the two side brushes help draw out dirt from corners.

The mopping efficiency, while still impressive, is not as impressive. The mop's rotating motor spins at a high speed and pushes down with 2.2lbs of force, effortlessly cleaning up dirt and stains. I've noticed that the front arms stick out slightly more than other robots, which can be helpful for getting into tight corners and on baseboards. The same front arms can also be used to pick up larger objects like books and broken toys.

The S1 Pro is also one of the quietest robot mop and vacuums I've tested. It doesn't make the same amount of noise while vacuuming or mopping and is much quieter than the Narwal Freo X Ultra or RoboRock S7. The only downside is that the S1 Pro must use a proprietary cleaning solution for mopping and is separate from the vacuum. It's simple to install and performs well, but this is something you'll need to keep an eye on if you're buying this robot vacuum Cleaners best (gitea.ws.adacts.com) vacuum for the sole purpose of mopping.

The Roborock Q Revo

The Q Revo stands apart from the majority of robot vacuums that mop in its class. It has a robust suite of features that make it an ideal choice for homeowners who want a highly effective, versatile and ad-hoc cleaning machine.

The device comes with an efficient cleaning system that integrates LiDAR sensor technology with an RGB camera. This allows it to map out the home and also find furniture and other obstacles. It can then use this information to clean effectively and intelligently. This will result in a thorough, consistent clean which is also relatively fast.

In terms of mopping, the Q Revo's DuoRoller mop pads can reach an array of surface areas. These include corners, baseboards, and other hard-to-reach areas. The side brush can be stretched to reach the floor close to the walls and other fixtures. The mop pads are also washable and dry to reduce odors and prevent buildup.

Another noteworthy feature is the app-based customization options. The Q Revo allows you to adjust the amount of suction and choose between a back-andforth, or a more random pattern. You can also adjust the number of passes it must make, which will affect how quickly the device can move around your home. You can also choose to turn off the side brush to avoid damaging carpets and rugs.

The device comes with a high price tag but is packed with a wide array of innovative features. It's important to note that it incurs recurring expenses in the form of mopping equipment and maintenance. For instance brushrolls need to be replaced every six to 12 months or after 300 hours. The filter will need to be cleaned after 150 hours, and the mop pad should be replaced every one to three months.

The robot vacuum mop is a top Amazon rating and includes a wide range of physical automation features. The robot vacuum also comes with a power button which doubles as a 'Clean button' as well as a 'Home' button to send it home after cleaning. It also comes with a multifunctional dock that automatically emptys the trash bin, fills up its water tank and washes and dry its mop pads.

The Shark Matrix Plus

The Shark Matrix Plus will be a good choice for busy professionals or anyone who wants to keep their home tidy without spending too much time doing chores. Its incredibly fast performance, sophisticated navigation, and long battery life allow you to maintain a clean house with little effort.

The Matrix Plus is a 2-in-1 robot vacuum and mop which means it can handle both vacuuming and mopping. The robot has two modules: a dry bin and water reservoir and a separate mopping system with a microfiber pad that snaps into and out of the way. Separate modules for vacuuming and mopping may seem a bit old-fashioned but they're a good thing because that you don't need to worry about changing disposable bags or refilling the water tank.

The Matrix Plus performed well at both vacuuming as well as mopping. Its greatest feature is its precise floorplan map, which it uses when cleaning robot mop and vacuum. The Matrix Plus was able to navigate easily between rugs, furniture, and other obstacles. The app also offers the option to set 'No-Go zones' and virtual barriers, which can help to keep certain areas of your home from being swept with mop.

The Matrix Plus also did a remarkable job at picking up hair from pets. It was able to collect some of the hair our cats shed, and even got into the corners and crevices of our stairs, where other robots have struggled. The noise levels of the robot were low and there were lovely jingles that inform you that it was in the process of working towards its goal.

Its biggest drawbacks were its simplistic app and the necessity to swap between the modules to switch between vacuuming and mopping. The app isn't able to store multiple maps, which could be a pain for homes with multiple floors. The Matrix Plus robot vacuum cleaner is a great choice for those who want a smart device that can mop and vacuum.

The Yiko X1 Omni

The X1 Omni is the most expensive robotic vacuum that is able to mop in our review, however it also has distinct features that are worth a look. The X1 Omni's main draw is its massive dock that doubles as the robot's charging base and housing for two 4 liter water tanks, a sink for cleaning and an automatic vacuum cleaner and mop 2.5-liter dust bin that automatically eliminates.

The base also has a number of control buttons that allow you to manually start a cleaning job and then recall the robot or start the dock's auto-emptying process. Hold down two buttons to toggle the child lock. This is a nice feature for parents who are concerned about their kids messing around with the vacuum.

The Omni Omni, like other robotic hoovers vacuums, uses its camera to detect obstacles and furniture that are in its path. It will steer clear of them. Its True Mapping 2.0 navigation system can map your home 10 times faster than laser detection systems and is four times more precise at finding objects.

Unfortunately this means that the X1 Omni can occasionally get caught up in obstacles, like a power cord draped across a rug that it becomes stuck and ceases to function until you remove it manually. While this was rare however, it was a gruelling experience when it did happen particularly since the X1 Omni doesn't have an "stuck" status alert on its app.

The X1 Omni cannot automatically switch from mopping mode to vacuuming mode during cleaning. You'll have to manually switch between the two, which isn't too bad except for the fact that mopping pads aren't washed and dried between uses which could lead to mildew or mold.

It's a significant contrast to the basic black bases of competitors like Roborock or iRobot. And it's an excellent choice for an industry dominated by boxy units.1533854584_VC0yrM8Z_8bfd47f89215f575db2730c3d1adbcc23a2f32bb.jpg
