Best Robot Vacuum Cleaner and MopIf you're looking to clean up messes quickly then a robot vacuum and mop is the
best rated robot vacuum way to go. The top robot vacuums and mops in my tests come with top-quality mapping and navigation, picking up Cheerios wires, tangled wires and fake dog turds without leaving them behind.
You can also schedule cleaning chores through an app and monitor their progress.
1. Roborock S8 maxV Ultra
The Roborock S8 MaxV is the most efficient robot mop and
automatic vacuum and mop robot. It comes with the most recent features. This high-end model is incredibly fast and nimble it can remove debris such as pet hair and human hair with a near perfect accuracy in our Debris Pickup Test. It also features a sleek app interface with a miniature map of your house and a few buttons on the screen for manual control.
The S8's Dirt Detection Technology allows it to adjust the cleaning mode in accordance with dirt levels. It will wash its mopping pads more frequently when it encounters dust. Carpeted areas get the first priority when mopping with a damp mopping pad.
The mop's roller has a number of other smart features, including a dock that connects to the plumbing system in your home to clean and wash it without you having to manually refill the mop. You can also use voice commands to control the built-in voice assistant using the phrase "Hey Rocky" to specify rooms cleaning, modes and granular controls using just your voice.
2. Yeedi Cube
The Yeedi Cube offers a variety of options for those who want a hands free robot vacuum with mopping capabilities. It's part of a plethora of robot vacuums that also feature mops but is priced at a lower cost than many of the competitors.
Like most robot vacuums, the Yeedi Cube also requires some work to get started. This involves establishing an app account and connecting the device to your WiFi network. Once that's done, though the robot can begin vacuuming and mopping with ease.
It's important to note that the mapping process could take some time, and the Yeedi Cube may need a few tries before it gets an accurate picture of your space. The object detection is an issue that is hit-and-miss. It was able to maneuver around furniture and other obstacles but it was stuck on a rug with tassels and had to flip over to release itself. These are minor issues and the Yeedi Cube remains a great option for those looking for an all-purpose cleaning tool that can do it all.
3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
The Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete is a three-in one home cleaning solution. Its innovative mopping system uses an alternating motion that's similar to hand scrubbers. This results in floors being cleaned, not just being swept. The detachable stick vacuum is a game changer that enables you to reach areas that robotic vacuums aren't able to reach.
This model is nearly identical to the popular X2 Omni but with a slightly higher suction capacity of 8,700Pa as well as a few other smart features. The RGBD sensor upgrade can be used to learn your home's environment and provide the ability to avoid obstacles in a dynamic manner. The smart app lets you customize various settings that include scheduling, AI cleanings, and setting virtual boundaries.
The X2 Combo is also self-prepping, with both the robot vacuum as well as the mop returning to their charging station after each task to wash their pads and empty their dust bins and put the waste in the self-sealing bags. This helps to keep the system tidy and stops allergens from circulating. Its battery life is sufficient to clean large areas without needing a charge mid-clean.
4. Eufy S1 Pro
As one of the top-quality robot vacuums and mop models that we have reviewed, the Eufy S1 Pro offers impressive features for its price. It is equipped with a powerful 8,000 Pa suction power as well as a rotating brush for hard and carpet floors and a great obstacle avoidance. It also features an unique mopping method that utilizes a roller continuously sprayed with water to collect dirt, and then dump it into the dirty water tank.
Its navigation system was efficient. It avoided the stairs and was able to navigate close to walls without falling. It had trouble with fine particles and didn't always clear the raised thresholds in rooms. Its operating sound level is also high, so this model may not be as simple to set and forget as the other models.
Like most
best robotic mop and vacuum vacuums and mop cleaners, the S1 Pro comes with a docking station that allows you to refill its clean water, empty its dustbin and mop pad, and wash and dry its mop. This makes maintenance easier and lets the S1 Pro spend more time cleaning floors in line with an established schedule. You can manage all of its functions through the Eufy app. It provides an easy overview and lots of options for configuration.
5. Freo X Ultra
The Freo X Ultra is one of the most premium
best robot cleaner vacuums/mowers available, and it offers an impressive mix of mopping and vacuuming performance. The LIDAR sensors for mapping can identify furniture legs, obstacles and other obstacles with reasonable precision. The app allows users to fine-tune the coverage of the map, create no-go zones, and even customize cleaning preferences. The Freo's roller brush was specifically designed to prevent hair from wrapping itself around it. This can be an issue with a lot of robotic vacuums.
The Mop Mode also impresses, with Reuleaux triangular mop heads that spin at 180 RPM, while applying up to 12N downward pressure. The mopping system incorporates intelligent carpet detectors, which raise the pads when they're near soft surfaces to prevent contamination.
The all-in-one docking station serves as a hands-free maintenance center that is able to wash and dry the mops and refilling them with detergent and water. The base station has an integrated dust-processing system that compacts dust, allowing for 7 weeks of uninterrupted maintenance.
6. S10
This robot is only a few hundred dollars more than the S8 and does an excellent job of keeping my office tidy. It can also reach into the corners of my small apartment. It uses laser mapping and a camera to build a map of your area, so it knows where to stay away from. In addition, unlike other vacuums that have mopping capabilities it also has detection of objects and obstructions that is able to avoid things like dog toys and bowls (but not poop!).
Other fantastic features include a self emptying dustbin and a mop that is self-washing, adjustable to water temperature, and a side-reaching mops that can reach areas that other mops cannot reach. You can also set up cleaning schedules within the app and adjust settings for every room in your home.
Similar to the S8 It also has multi-room smart mapping that can differentiate between laminate, carpets and hardwood with high-pile rugs. If you're looking to cut down on time, it can even skip mopping in rooms that aren't dirty. If you have a variety of flooring in your house and don't want to spend additional money for a Roborock that comes with advanced mapping features, this is an excellent option.
7. Q5 Pro
This robot is a great choice if you are seeking a flexible robot that can perform regular maintenance on a daily basis and touch-ups for messy water stains. It has a wide range of features like self-emptying dustbins and a separate water refill dock, as well as customizable settings in the app. It's surprisingly quiet, and it can maneuver around furniture legs and socks effortlessly. It's not able to take care of knotted rug tassels and its battery drains a little more quickly than other models in our tests.
With a price tag of less than $250 it's the Q5 Pro is a bargain-friendly powerhouse that packs serious suction and handy automation into a sleek. It wasn't as efficient as the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra in our tests for vacuuming, but overall it did quite well. It has a range of cleaning options, ranging from the low-power 'Quiet mode which is suitable for small debris to the more powerful 'Turbo mode' for carpeted areas. It even has the ability to automatically remove and reattach mop pads, without getting your carpets wet.
8. K10 Plus
The K10 Plus is a great robot vacuum and mop for those who live in small areas. It's extremely quiet and speedy, and it is a great choice for maneuvering around tight spaces. It also does a nice job of getting pet hair off carpeting.
It's smaller than its rivals however, it doesn't compromise any features. It has a decent suction capacity and can be set to take pictures of each object it finds (i.e. chew toys, socks), and mark them in the app as 'not located' so that they are not picked up again during future cleanings. The photos are secured and not connected to your account.
It does a fantastic job of vaccuming, but it isn't as good at mopping. It makes use of disposable wipes that are clipped to the bottom of the bot and drags them across your floor. Compare this to the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra or Narwhal that have reservoirs of water, and can automatically wash and attach their mopheads.
