Our BMW ghost immobiliser, a next-generation device, doesn't require cutting OEM wires or add key fobs or alarms from the aftermarket. If the anti-hijacking mode has been activated, any attempt to restart the engine will be thwarted. The system will honk the horn flashing the indicators, and stop the vehicle when the code isn't found. The Anti-Hijack feature can be cancelled by entering your push sequence or by entering service mode which allows your vehicle to start and drive without having to enter your PIN.
If you have a GPS device that is connected to your BMW it is possible to use it to disable the Anti-Hijack function to allow you to use your navigation system while the vehicle is parked.
