It's extremely quick and does an excellent job of cleaning my two bedroom apartment. It vacuums the carpeted areas extremely quickly, and the hardwood floors in the living room, and hallways in one go. Its motor of 8,000pa is able to pick up dirt as well as pet hair and droppings easily. Carpet detection increases power automatically when it comes into contact with rugs, and the two side brushes help to tease away debris from corners.
The mopping performance, though still impressive, is not as good. The mop rotates quickly and makes use of 2.2lbs to scrub dirt and stain. I've noticed that the front arm sticks out a bit more than other robots. This is useful when you're trying to get into difficult corners or along baseboards. The front arms can also be used to collect larger debris such as books and toys that have been damaged.

The Yiko X1 Omni
The X1 Omni is the most expensive robot vacuum that can be found in our review, but it has some unique features that make it worth considering. The X1 Omni's biggest draw is its huge dock that doubles as a charging base and the housing for two 4 liter water tanks, a cleaning sink and an automatic vacuum and mop robot 2.5-liter dust bin that automatically empties.
The base comes with several control buttons that allow you to manually begin a cleaning task or recall the robot, or run the dock’s auto-emptying procedure. Hold down two buttons to turn off the child lock. This is a nice feature for parents who are concerned about their kids messing around with the vacuum.
The Omni Omni, like other robotic vacuums uses its camera to spot obstacles and furniture that are in its path. It will avoid them. True Mapping 2.0 navigation maps your home up to four times faster than laser detection systems.
The X1 can be prone to get stuck if it gets caught in a hazard, such as the power cable that is draped over a rug. It will not work until you manually untangle it. This is a rare event, but frustrating nonetheless, because the X1 doesn't have a "stuck status" alert on its app.
The X1 Omni is unable to automatically switch from mopping mode to vacuuming mode during the cleaning process. You'll have to manually swap between the two, which isn't a big deal apart from the fact that mopping pads haven't been cleaned and dried between use which could lead to mildew or mold.
On the bright side it's worth noting that the X1 Omni is a beautiful-looking robot thanks to the design team at Jacob Jensen (of Bang & Olufsen fame) who conceptualized its modern and sleek base as well as mopping pad. It's a big departure from the utilitarian all-black bases of competitors like Roborock or iRobot. It's also an impressive sight in a market dominated by clunky boxy models.
