The best robot vacuums and mops I've tested are top-quality in navigation and mapping, picking up Cheerios, tangled wires and fake dog turds without leaving them behind.

You can also schedule cleaning tasks with an app and monitor their progress.

1. Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra

If you're looking for the best robot vacuum and mop with cutting-edge features you should take a look at the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra. This premium vacuum is quick and agile and was able to pick up human hair and pet hair nearly flawlessly in our Debris Pickup Test. It features a sleek and elegant app interface that includes an interactive map of your home as well as buttons on the screen for manual control.

The S8's Dirt-Detection Technology allows it to change the cleaning mode according to dirt levels. It will clean its mopping pads more frequently if it encounters dust. Carpeted areas get priority for mopping using mopping pads that are damp.

It's got a host of other features that are smart as well, including a different dock that connects to your home plumbing to wash and clean the mop roller, without having refilling it manually. With the built-in voice assistant of the S8 you can make use of voice commands to control rooms cleaning options and precise control with just your voice.

2. Yeedi Cube

If you're looking to buy a hands-free robot vacuum with mopping capabilities, the Yeedi Cube is one of the more versatile alternatives. It's among the many combo robot vacuums with mopping features that are also available at a lower cost than competitors.

Like most robovacs, the Yeedi Cube requires a little amount of work to begin, which includes setting up an account with the app of the manufacturer and connecting it to your WiFi network. After that, the machine will begin vacuuming and mopping effortlessly.

It's worth noting that the mapping process can take quite a while and it could take a few times before the Yeedi Cube has an accurate view of your space. The object detection is an issue that is hit-and-miss. It was able to skirt around furniture and other obstacles but got stuck on a looser rug with tassels that it required a flip to release itself. These aren't major issues and the Yeedi Cube remains a great choice for those in need of an all-purpose cleaning tool that can do everything.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete

The Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete provides a three-in-one cleaning solution. Its innovative mopping feature a rotating motion like hand scrubbing which results in floors that are genuinely cleaned, not just swept. The detachable stick vacuum is a game changer that allows you to reach spots even robot cleaner vacuums can't.

The model is basically identical to the popular X2 Omni but with a slightly higher suction capacity of 8,700Pa and additional smart features. The upgraded RGBD sensor will learn to understand your home better and offer dynamic obstacle avoidance. And the smart app lets you customize a variety of settings that include scheduling, AI cleanings, and setting virtual boundaries.

The X2 Combo is also self-prepping, with both the robot vacuum and the mop returning to their charging station after each task to wash their pads, empty their dust bins and put the waste in a self-sealing bag. This helps to keep the system clean and also prevents allergens from circulating. Its battery life is long enough to cover large areas without the need for a recharge during cleaning.

4. Eufy S1 Pro

The Eufy S1 Pro is a top-quality robot vacuum and mop model that offers impressive features at a reasonable price. It is equipped with a powerful 8,000 Pa suction power as well as a rotating brush for hard floors and carpets, and great obstacles-avoiding. It also has an unique mopping method which uses a rolling device that is continuously sprayed with water to collect dirt, and then dump it in the water tank.

Its navigation system was efficient. It stayed clear of steps and walked close to walls without falling. It had trouble with fine particles and didn't always clear the raised thresholds in rooms. Its operating noise level is also high, so it may be less of a "set-and-forget" model than other models.

Like most robotic hoovers vacuums and mops, the S1 Pro comes with a docking station that allows you to refill its clean water and empty its dust bin and mop pad, as well as wash and dry its mop. This makes upkeep easy and allows the S1 Pro to spend more time cleaning floors according to regular schedules. Eufy's application lets you manage all of its functions. It provides a clear overview with plenty of configuration options.

5. Freo X Ultra

The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum/mower is among the top mowers and vacuums on the market. It delivers impressive vacuuming and mopping results. Its LIDAR mapping sensor is able to recognize furniture legs and other obstacles with decent accuracy, and the app allows users to fine-tune coverage of the map, define no-go zones, and customize cleaning preferences. The Freo's roller brush was specifically designed to prevent hair from wrapping itself around it. This can be an issue with a lot of robotic vacuums.

The Mop Mode is impressive too it comes with Reuleaux triangular mop heads that spin at 180 RPM and exert up to 12N of downward pressure. The mopping system is equipped with smart carpet detectors, which lift the pads up when they are close to soft surfaces to avoid contamination.

The docking station that is all-in-one functions as a hands-free maintenance centre that is able to wash and dry the mops and refilling them with water and detergent. The base station has an integrated dust removal system that compacts dust, allowing for 7 weeks of uninterrupted maintenance.

6. S10

A few hundred dollars less than the S8 This robot does a bang-up job of keeping my home office spotless and also take on the corners of my tiny apartment. It uses laser mapping and a camera to make an image of your space and knows where to stay away from. It also has a detector for objects and obstructions that can avoid things like dog bowls and toys (but not Poop), unlike many vacuums.

Other fantastic features include a self emptying dustbin and a mop that is self-washing, adjustable to water temperature, and a side-reaching brush that can reach areas that other mops miss. You can also set up cleaning schedules in the app and customize the settings for each room in your home.

Similar to the S8 model, it comes with multi-room smart mapping, and can distinguish between laminate, carpets and hardwood with high-pile rugs. And, if you want to save time, it can skip cleaning rooms that aren't filthy. If you have several types of flooring in your home and don't wish to spend more money on a Roborock that has advanced mapping features, this is a great option.

7. Q5 Pro

This robot is a great choice to consider if you're looking for a versatile robot that can handle regular daily maintenance and touch-ups for messy water stains. It has a wide range of features including self-emptying dustbins as well as an additional water refill dock, as well as adjustable settings in the app. It's quite quiet, and it's able to maneuver around furniture legs and socks with ease. However, it can't pick up tangled rug tassels and its battery drains more quickly than other models we tested in our tests.

With a cost of less than $250 it's the Q5 Pro is a bargain-friendly machine that packs a lot of suction and useful automation into a slick design. It didn't perform as well as the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra in our vacuuming tests, but overall it did very well. It also offers a variety of cleaning modes to meet your needs, ranging from the low-power 'Quiet' option for lightweight debris to the more robust 'Turbo' mode that is ideal for rooms with carpet. It even has the ability to remove and reconnect its mop pads without getting your carpets wet.

8. K10 Plus

The K10 Plus is a great robot vacuum and mop for those who live in tiny areas. It's extremely quiet and speedy and is a great choice for getting around tight spots. It is also very good at removing pet hair off carpets.

It's smaller than many of its competitors, but it doesn't sacrifice features. It has a good amount of suction power and it is able to take photos of any object it finds (i.e., chew toys, socks) and mark them as 'not found in the app to ensure that they don't get picked up during future cleanings. Its photos are encrypted, and aren't tied to your account.

It does a fantastic job of vaccuming, however it isn't as effective at mopping. It uses disposable wet wipes that are clipped onto the bottom of the bot and it basically drags them around your floor. Compare this to the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra or Narwhal which have water reservoirs, and automatically wash and attach their mopheads.
