1. Contours Itsy

A compact stroller that is also a compact stroller, the Contours Itsy offers lots of features for its small size. Its back under-seat basket is spring loaded, meaning that you can lower it to put bags for diapers or backpacks in, and it will open up to keep the contents. It also has an accessory tray for children and an adjustable back pad that reclines, which are more options than you normally find on a lightweight stroller.

It also has a canopy that you can open and shut to get the level of sun protection you desire. The handlebars can be adjusted in height to ensure a comfortable fit in four different positions. However, we weren't thrilled by the quality of its ride on rough terrain. We felt the wheels and suspension didn't do a good job of absorbing shocks and bumps.

It's a great stroller single for travel because it comes in a box that is fully assembled and requires only a few steps to get it set to use. The seat can be pushed back and forward to adjust the recline. It's a bit flat. It's a cinch to fold and unfold because of two buttons on the frame. It also fits into a very convenient carrying bag when not in use. It's actually one of the smallest strollers we tested and it easily meets most airline requirements for gate-checking, or cabin storage on airplanes. This is an excellent option for those who are looking for a stroller that is light and easy to carry. It has all the features parents are looking for in a stroller. It also comes with two tray for parents and children. tray, each with two cup holders.

Its build quality, however it is too low and it didn't fare well in our maneuverability tests. It also has a swivel frame which makes pushing it over rough terrain feel like lifting a large weight. It may be fine if you only use the stroller on paved sidewalks. However, for most people, it's not a good choice.

3. Munchkin Sparrow

The Munchkin Sparrow stroller is the perfect travel stroller for parents who are constantly moving. The compact stroller is easy to fold down and up and easily fits in overhead compartments on planes as well as in trunks at the amusement park (no worries about parking fees). It comes with a carry bag which zips up for easy storage. It is able to be used from birth with the infant car seat adapter, and provides plenty of sun protection thanks to its canopy (though not as much as the Nuna TRVL or Uppababy Minu V2). The only issue is that some parents consider the design to be uninspiring and cheap.

The BabyZen Yoyo+ is a little more expensive than other lightweight single stroller with bench seat strollers, but it was designed specifically for luxurious urban living and travel. It is one of the easiest strollers to fold, and comes with a handy carry case. It's got plenty of storage space as well as a cupholder. The seat is comfortable for both the child and the adult and reclines to a near-flat position. This is the only stroller that can be used by infants using the car seat adapter. The handlebar isn't adjustable and could pose an issue for parents who are short.

The UPPAbaby Minu V2 isn't the lightest stroller on our list, but it has a ton of wonderful features that help kids travel more easily. The large seat reclines to a flat position, and it comes with extra padding to make those airplane naps more comfortable. The extendable canopy has a lot of sun-shade and the tray on the front has plenty of storage. It also features an adjustable handle that doubles as the footrest when folded. This footrest, however, is prone to damage by baggage handlers.

Uppababy's Minu V2 is a top stroller that doesn't compromise on quality or design. Its compact size makes it easy to maneuver narrow streets and tight spaces, however its sturdy construction means it can withstand rough terrain without compromising your child's comfort. The spring-action suspension at the front and back makes for more comfort for your child, and its sturdy materials ensure it can stand up to the wear and tear of everyday use. It can also be enlarged to accommodate other accessories, such as a bassinet and infant car seat.

Even with a baby in the mix, the Minu was a breeze to fold and maneuver. Its squat almost square fold that folds into thirds, is among the most straightforward in our tests and allows it to easily fit into overhead compartments on planes or public transportation. It can be tucked away in the trunk of your vehicle, and comes with a storage container and Uppababy TravelSafe which extends the warranty of the manufacturer by two years and provides repairs if the item is damaged during travel.

5. Joovy Aire

Joovy is a well-known brand that makes several strollers. This lightweight model is a good choice for parents who are looking for a workhorse single stroller pushchair that carts kids around, offers ample storage, is easy to maneuver and doesn't require a high engineering degree to fold. This model is not suitable for those looking for an additional stroller or car seat compatible model. It does not accept infant car seats. Your babies must be able to sit up on their backs before they can use it.

This stroller has some solid features, and it comes with a hefty price tag. It scored higher on our maneuverability test than other models with similar specs. It's an excellent choice for smooth surfaces. It has a huge parent tray, canopy, and plenty of storage. The handlebar is smaller than the average, and the front wheel suspension is a bit stiffer however it's suitable for adults.

If you have twins, or two children who are different in age, you might consider a side-by-side stroller to be the best choice to transport them. Our favorite is the Joovy Twin Groove, which offers plenty of features and a small footprint that can fit where most other side-by-side alternatives can't.

It comes with reclining seats and a huge canopy with a peek-a-boo window and tons of storage. It's heavier than other side-bysides but has a decent weight limit and can handle most kids up to 50 pounds. It is possible to add a bassinet on the front of the stroller for newborns.

The Caboose RS Sit and Stand Stroller offers an elegant version of the stroller. It has the same great features and can be fitted out with a bassinet so that you can take your baby home in style from the hospital.
