Travel strollers aren't much lighter or more compact than this one. Its sleek design makes it easy to fold into a chic rectangle shape and the wheels are a lot easier to turn than other styles.

It also has an under-seat storage space and an arm-strap that makes it easy to carry around if you're not pushing it. The canopy adjustment can be noisy which can disturb children who are asleep.

1. Contours Itsy

The Contours Itsy is a compact stroller that has a variety of features for its size. The basket in the back of the seat is spring loaded, meaning that you can pull it down to stuff a diaper bag or backpack in and it will pop up to protect the contents. It also comes with a child accessory tray and adjustable reclining seat back pad and a reclining seat back pad, which offer more options than you normally find on a lightweight stroller.

It also has a canopy that can be closed and opened to ensure that you get the sun protection level you want. The handlebars are adjustable in height to ensure a comfortable fit in four different positions. We weren't too impressed with the ride quality on rough surfaces. We found that the suspension and wheels did not do a good job of absorbing bumps and shocks.

It's a great stroller for travel because it comes in a box fully assembled, with just a few steps to get it in use. The seat can be moved back and forward to adjust the recline. It's a bit flat. It's easy to fold and unfold, due to two buttons on the frame. It also fits into a very convenient carrying bag when not in use. It's actually one of the most compact strollers we've tested and can meet the requirements of many airlines for gate-checking and storage in the cabin on planes. Make sure you consult with your airline prior to you fly, because rules can differ. 2. Kolcraft Cloud Plus

This is a great choice to those looking for a lightweight travel stroller. It has all the features that parents want in a stroller. It has all-terrain tires and front suspension to ensure smooth riding. It's also extremely light, weighing less than 12 pounds. And it has a convenient fold that can be folded with one hand and a self-standing fold. It has two cup holders on each tray for the parent and child.

The quality, however it is a bit on the low side and it didn't score well in our maneuverability tests. It also features a flexible frame which makes pushing it over rough terrain feel like lifting a heavy weight. This is fine if you only use the stroller on smooth paths, but for the majority of people, it's likely to not provide a comfortable experience.

Cloud Plus Cloud Plus has a three-tier extended canopy as well as a peek-a-boo window for added sun protection. Its multi-position seat can be used by children weighing up to 50 pounds and uses the 5-point safety restraint system. This is a great choice for older toddlers that have outgrown their infant car seats.

It's compact and folds down in one step. It is able to be collapsed by pressing an appropriate button. It also comes with a convenient foot-activated break that is simple to set up and release.

However the handle is a bit lower than many of the other strollers we looked at and some parents may feel uncomfortable for long durations. The handle is locked in place when it's opened. This is a fantastic feature to use the stroller on uneven or rough terrain.

3. Munchkin Sparrow

The Munchkin Sparrow stroller is the perfect travel stroller for parents who are always on the move. The compact stroller can be folded up and down with ease and fits into the overhead compartments of planes, or trunks in amusement parks (no need to fret about parking fees). It comes with a convenient zip carrying bag that can be easily stored. It can be used from birth using the infant car seat adapter, and provides a decent amount of coverage in the sun thanks to its canopy (though not as much as the Nuna TRVL or Uppababy Minu V2). The only drawback is that some parents find the style to be uninspiring and cheap single buggy.

The BabyZen Yoyo+ stroller is more expensive than the other lightweight single pushchair strollers. However, it was specifically designed for urban living and luxurious travel. It's among the easiest strollers that fold (and includes a convenient carry case) and comes with plenty of storage space, including cups holder. The seat is comfortable for the child and the adult, and reclines to a near-flat position. This is the only stroller that can be used for infants using the car seat adapter. The handlebar cannot be adjusted and could pose an issue for parents who are taller.

The UPPAbaby Minu V2 may not be the most lightweight stroller, but it has a lot of amazing features that help children travel more easily. The spacious seat reclines into an upright position and comes with additional padding to make those plane napping sessions more comfortable. The extendable canopy offers good sun protection, and the parent tray is spacious with plenty of storage. It also features an adjustable footrest that can double as a handle when folded. The footrest, however, is prone to damage by baggage handlers.

4. Uppababy Mini V2

Uppababy's Minu V2 is a premium stroller that doesn't skimp on quality and design. Its compact size makes it easy to navigate narrow sidewalks and tight spaces, however its robust construction means it can take on rough terrain without compromising your child's comfort. Front and rear spring-action suspensions provide a more comfortable ride for both of you, and its sturdy materials ensure it can stand up to every day wear and tear without losing its shape. It can also be expanded to accommodate other accessories like an infant car seat.

In our tests in our tests, the Minu was a breeze to fold and move around even with a child in hand. The squat fold, which can be divided into three sections was among the most simple we tried. This makes it possible to fit easily in overhead compartments of planes and public transport. It also has a color-coded single strollers that connect-action brake that's simple to use.

The seat has a multi-position recline as well as a one-handed adjustable leg rest, so it's easy to find the right position for your child. The UPF 50+ canopy lowered quite a ways to shield Cora's face from sun. There is also a medium-sized mesh peek-aboo window that closes magnetically and adheres to the canopy rather than using noisy Velcro.

With a weight of just under 15 pounds, the Minu is a breeze to carry with a built-in carry handle and shoulder strap. It can be stored in the trunk of your vehicle and comes with a storage case and Uppababy TravelSafe which extends the warranty of the manufacturer by two years and includes the cost of replacement if something is damaged in the course of air travel.

5. Joovy Aire

Joovy is a well-known brand that produces various strollers. This light model is a good option for parents who are looking for an all-purpose stroller that can carry kids around, offers ample storage, is easy to move around and doesn't require a high engineering degree to fold. It's not the best choice for those who want a car seat-compatible model or a double stroller. It doesn't accept any infant car seats, and your infants will need to be able to sit independently before they can use the stroller from the beginning.

This stroller is brimming with features and is available at a very affordable price. It scored a higher rating in our review of maneuverability than other strollers with similar specs, and is an excellent option for smooth surfaces. It also has a nice canopy and plenty of storage including a large parent tray. The front wheel suspension is stiff, and the handlebar is a bit smaller than average, but it offers a comfortable ride for adults.

If you have twins, or two kids of different ages, you might find a side by side stroller is the best way for them to travel in. Our top pick is the Joovy Twin Groove. It is loaded with features and a small footprint which means it can be placed in places where other side-byside strollers won't.

It has a huge canopy that has a peek-aboo view and plenty of storage. It's heavier than other side-by-sides but it has a reasonable capacity and weight limit. It can carry the majority of children up to 50 pounds. It is possible to add an infant bassinet to the front of the stroller for newborns.

If you're looking for a more luxurious version of this stroller the Caboose Sit and Stand Stroller is an excellent alternative. It has the same fantastic features and can be outfitted with a bassinet, so you can take your baby home in style from the hospital.1533853947_vQXGLqdW_372b130a7765a2ef984589752edcc17f63f4fab4.jpg
