Our tester found the auto-lock a little confusing, and because the handlebar does not lock into the position you push it into to the side, it struck her leg when she tried to use it. She also felt that the handlebar was a little shorter than she would like and especially with the large changing bag hanging off it.
This double stroller isn't as light as other buggies. It comes with a wide range of features, and is one the most versatile double strollers available on the market. It's compatible with two carry cots (available separately) It also has multiple recline positions and an UV 50+ canopy. You can put an additional bassinet to one or both seats to create a travel system.
The four tires made of rubber are ideal for pavements and urban terrain. However, they were not designed for off-roading. They struggled with gravel and long grass and there was not enough clearance between the wheel bracket and the wheel, so mud stuck easily. That being said, our tester still loved the buggy and did manage to climb some beautiful muddy hills.
2. iCandy Orange
The iCandy Orange is a premium double buggy that is a top choice in style and versatility. It is an essential item for parents who want a chic and durable double buggy that lasts. The Orange has an elegant, lightweight, streamlined frame with a large basket that is able to accommodate 2 car seats. It comes with a gorgeous, removable canopy that is water-resistant and air-conditioned. It comes in trend-led colours - Pistachio, Fossil, Latte and Rose on a Jet Black frame. The option to add an integrated ride for older siblings is also available.
This 2021 update has couple of improvements, including better maneuverability, a larger basket, and a new bumper bar that has a leatherette cover. The seats are very comfortable and have a moulded appearance. They're also adjustable so they can be set to suit siblings' needs. iCandy is the first to introduce a 'cinema seating' design that allows parents to maintain eye contact with both children. They can be adjusted so that they face either the parent or the world.
It's a heavier tandem buggie but it's a breeze to operate and drive especially on smooth pavements. It is stable in double and single double stroller mode, and even on sloped terrain. It's not as easy to drive on public transport, however, because it requires more than one hand on the handlebar. It's also large and won't fit in a standard car boot with the seat on, however this can be overcome with careful planning. iCandy include an infant footmuff, a changing bag and car seat adapters included in the price so this is an excellent value for new parents.

This is a tandem stroller that is extremely light. It comes with two non-reversible seats that are suitable for children from birth up to about 3 years of age. The rear seat can also be used to accommodate a car-seat.
It has an easy and simple to fold mechanism that makes it convenient for travel and storage. It also has a spacious basket, perfect to store all of your baby's or toddler's essentials.
The Joie Evalite Duo is a great double buggy for beginners because it provides excellent value for money and is simple to steer. It is also extremely light, making it easier to push for long distances. It also has a premium suspension system that provides a smooth ride, for both children and parents.
This stylish and practical city stroller can be used by twins or a toddler with an infant, or even three children with the addition of UPPAbaby's ‘PiggyBack’ board (sold separately). It has a sleek frame and compact double stroller size, which makes it ideal for narrow city streets and shopping malls. The swivel wheels on the front and four-wheel suspension allow it to maneuver over uneven or slightly rough terrain.

Our testers noted that the Nipper Double was incredibly easy to maneuver, even moving on uneven ground or turning fast in a busy street. They were also amazed by the fact that both seats recline independently. This means they can be adjusted to suit your individual preferences - perfect for napping.
They also appreciated that the hoods were able to be moved forward and back, which made them easier to adjust in the sun or for wind protection. They didn't offer the same amount of coverage as the Baby Jogger City Mini Hoods. It might be worth packing an additional rain cover in the case.
Overall, our testers loved the way the Nipper Double allowed them to take their Twin umbrella stroller girls Sydney and Lyla on a variety of adventures, from spotting wildlife in the woods to running to the park for a quick playdate. They were also awed by how comfortable and spacious the two seats are with plenty of room for toddlers to stretch out in. The lack of parent facing seating and the inability to use a car seats on this buggy were both noted as a problem by our testers. They would also have liked to see a larger storage area to store shopping items and other accessories.
