World of Warcraft -
Item UpgradingItem upgrading (
angersalt29.werite.net) allows players to increase the gear score of an
item upgrader to 700 and add an additional perk. Items can be upgraded by having them in inventory, and then taking them to the kiln.
Certain items can be upp'd for their unique stats (like perfect made breakpoint armour that can be rolled to use in melee PvP) while other items, such as weapons do not change significantly after an upgrade, and therefore aren't worth upgrading.
Weapons
Weapons can be upgraded to increase their numeric stats, such as crit chance, attack damage PvE and damage to PvP. Weapons come with a flat-rate bonus that increases damage per second. Many weapons also come with a fixed bonus which is activated when three or more identical weapons are used in a group. In some cases this bonus could add up to more than the amount of damage that a weapon is able to upgrade on its own.
The cost of upgrading a weapon varies on its rarity and level. For instance, a +2 weapon will require two regular Smithing Stones to upgrade while the +3 model requires four. The number of stones required to upgrade the gun will increase until it needs more Smithing Stones. At that point it will reset to one.
Upgrading weapons will also reroll their base stats. This is usually a positive aspect, but it may also have negative consequences. In the case of items that only see use in a particular build (Whistant's shield for FB Sorcs, for example) upgrading them could make them unusable unless you have an extremely fortunate roll.
It is possible to upgrade armor items to increase their effectiveness. For instance, if you have chests or helms, it will boost its base defense while gloves and belts will increase their strength and dexterity. Armor offers a rerolling option for its Enhanced Defense%. This means that it is able to reroll down to a lower value.
The upgrade template of a weapon will display the new stats that it will gain upon upgrading, along with the relative values of those stats. This means that a change from a sword that has 8 damage to an 11 attack-damage sword will result in the weapon gaining 3% of attack damage. The 3% does not mean that the weapon will strike 3 times less, as it is an absolute number.
A weapon can also be rerolled by pressing the green button with circling arrows in the
item upgrader kit menu. This will reroll the item and change its stats, but it won't reset the weapon's levels or connect to the status of your account.
Armor
A few armor upgrades can make the world of difference to your survival. Certain sets offer massive increases in poison or curse, fire, and magic resistance, which can make the journey through difficult terrain a breeze. In general, the more defense you have for your character, the greater health you can receive from each point. Therefore, it's a good idea to upgrade your armor.
You can upgrade your armor by visiting any of the Great Fairy Fountains. There are four of them, and each requires you to complete a specific side quest that involves the Stable Trotters musical troupe. After you've completed your main quest and the corresponding fountains, you can talk to any Great Fairy in order to unlock the menu for upgrading armor.
The amount of materials required to upgrade each piece of armor will vary. In general, you'll need at anywhere between three Red Chuchu Jellies and ten Rupees for the first upgrade, then anywhere between five Rubies and ten Fire-Breath Lizalfos Horns for each subsequent one. The Champion Leathers, for example, can be upgraded to a 5 defense rating, which allows you to remain competitive in frigid environments with a large group of adversaries. The Snowquill Headdress, on the other side, can be upgraded to +20 defense, which means you're able to withstand a rout with your friends.
You can't upgrade armor in the same way as weapons. If you're playing as a Warrior then you should concentrate on upgrading your armor for physical strength or spell power. It's also worth saving your armor upgrades for armor you'll be wearing at the end of the game, like the Ring of Lightning and Spectral Shield or the helmet you wear for the final boss battle and the Monter Parts Merchant's mask.
By giving the jeweler 10 Twinkling Titanite in Gerudo Town, you can unlock perks for your armor. Generally speaking, you'll want to keep these upgrades for the weapon you'll use to win the game such as the Longsword, Battleaxe or Warhammer however, it could be beneficial to have a few upgrades of the chest armor and helmets to let you stealthy battle some monsters.
Potions
Potions are liquid substances that, when consumed provide the user with the illusion of status for a few minutes. There are five kinds of potions, each with different effects and durations. Some potions can be upgraded, increasing their level of effect. In addition the effects of certain potions can be enhanced by adding redstone or glowstone dust to them.
Potion upgrades require a certain amount XP. This can be obtained through crafting them on a table or by storing them in the Alchemist chest. The cost of upgrading varies based on the type of potion and the
item upgrader kit's Rarity and Mark Level.
To upgrade a potion to the next level, right-click on it in your inventory and select the "Upgrade" option from the menu. This opens an GUI where you can choose the potions you want to upgrade and the amount of XP they'll yield when upgraded. You can upgrade potions in batches of up to five at a time and their XP will be added to the total XP you currently have.
Once a potion has been upgraded, it will not degrade until you re-use it, or break the bottle it is stored in. You can also rename the potion by clicking it in your inventory.
There were some changes to potion mechanics in version 1.7.2. For instance the splash potions now have an average duration of 0.08 seconds (this is not the same as 22.5 seconds shown on the
item upgrader mod hover display). The table for potion can now be crafted with four Wood Planks and two Glass. This allows it to be utilized by players playing Survival and Bedrock. Bedrock Edition potions aren't compatible with cauldrons like Java Edition. Also, putting a potion on a full cauldron drains the liquid and refills the bottle.
Finally, there are lingering potions that are brewed using splash and dragon breath potions. In the same way, a lingering potion effect can be extended by adding redstone to it. The table of potions is arranged more like the Java Edition, and new potions were added, such as the potion of leaping and the decomposition potion, and turtle master potions.
Trinkets
A trinket is an ornament that is small and inexpensive or piece jewelry. It can also refer to a piece of art or a decoration that serves a purpose but is not particularly significant such as a tiny thimble. In certain traditions, trinkets are used to symbolize affection or friendship, specifically between family members.
Trinkets can be upgraded by players in addition to weapons, armor, and potions. They can be upgraded by visiting an upgrade vendor and paying the appropriate amount in currency. Trinkets like other items which can be upgraded can be swapped at will without losing stats.
Upgrade vendors are located at the capitals of every zone and in some cases in dungeons. Upgrades for trinkets can be bought with tokens, gold or fragments of rare trinkets.
Upgrades are a cost-effective alternative to purchasing a new trinket. One can upgrade a trinket for just 12 tokens. The new trinket will have the same base level as the previous trinket however, it will also come with an additional bonus of 1% upgrade.
Once the old Trinkets have become not usable they can be upgraded. This allows a player to increase both their power and value over time. They can also be traded between players which makes them a popular alternative to gold.
Players must upgrade their most valuable items first. This typically means the top-of-the-line items for their class, then their secondary items and finally, other gear items that they will not be replacing soon (for example rings or cloaks). Players should also take into consideration their class's preferred stats when selecting which items to upgrade. If Haste and Crit are two of the most important stats to a tank player and they want to upgrade their helm, chest and shoulders.
Trinkets are able to be upgraded to a higher level once they no longer have value and the new trinket can be upgraded to have an additional upgrade bonus of 1. However, a re-upgrade is likely to ruin the previous trinket until it is salvaged using a Black Lion Salvage Kit or an alternative salvage tool that is higher-end. Upgrades to trinkets can be more expensive than other upgrades but still less expensive than buying an entirely new trinket.
