This model does an excellent job of handling floor automated cleaning tasks hands-free, from sweeping to mopping and even dusting. Its base station is a smaller than its competitors and requires 50cm of space either side plus 150cm in front, but for those with the room it can provide a completely hands-free clean.
Its advanced navigation technology is able to determine the layout of your home, storing and utilizing the information within its internal memory without ever having to transfer it to the cloud or another external source. Combining AI See with iPath laser mapping technology the X10 can efficiently remember room layouts and optimize cleaning routes to ensure effectiveness and efficiency.
The X10's intelligent object recognition system also works well and allows the robot to quickly identify and avoid hazards such as power cords. It can also be programmed to automatically clean and recharge its battery, which is a nice touch. However, I discovered that the X10 can be stuck on thicker rugs, crashing noisily over them, and sometimes pushing its front brush into them.

The K10 Plus is a new version of Switchbot's Mini robot vacuum. The latest version comes with a new Anti-Tangle Rubber Brush with an Advanced Position Sensitive Detector sensor (PSD) and an increased suction power up to 3000Pa, which provides superior corner coverage.
Utilizing SLAM navigation and an intuitive application, the K10 Plus cleans thoroughly and efficiently. The PSD sensor and rotary brush work together to navigate around furniture. The four-stage process of cleaning consolidates, lifts and sweeps debris from carpets and floors. The dust bin will empty itself, so there's no need to empty it frequently.
You can also mark areas that you do not want the robot to enter, such as pets toys or power cords. This is a feature that's found in most robotic vacuums and it's useful when you have specific areas in your home that require more attention than others.
You can set the K10 Plus to return to its base station every 60, 75 or 90 minutes to automatically empty its dust bin. This is a major improvement over other robots which have to be returned and manually emptied. It can save you a lot of time.
In my tests I found that the K10 Plus had a very good battery life. It lasted for 110 minutes on a single run. This is much more than the iRobot Roomba Combo's time of 127 minutes.
The K10 Plus is a compact device that is easily placed under furniture or in small spaces. It is connected via Wi-Fi and comes with Alexa, Google Assistant, and Siri shortcuts.
