World of Warcraft - Item Upgrading

The item upgrade (use Dananxun here) allows players to boost the gear rating of an Best item upgrade up to 700 points and add a final bonus. Items can be upgraded by having them in inventory before heading to the kiln.

Certain items are worth upgrading due to their unique stats. (For example, a perfectly roll breakpoint armor is used in melee PvP). Other items, like weapons don't change much after an upgrade and therefore aren't worth the effort.

Weapons

Upgrades to weapons can boost their numerical stats, such as attack damage, crit probability and PvE/PvP damage. Weapons also have a flat bonus that increases the damage they deal per second. Additionally, many weapons have a set bonus which is activated when three or more of the same weapon are equipped on a unit. In some instances, this bonus could amount to more than the amount of damage a weapon is able to upgrade by itself.

The cost of upgrading a weapon is based on the rarity of the weapon and its current level. For instance, a +2 weapon requires two regular Smithing Stones while a+3 requires four. The number of stones needed to upgrade the weapon will continue to rise until it requires an upgrade to a higher level of Smithing Stones, at which point it will reset to one.

Upgrades to weapons will also change the stats of the base. While this is generally an excellent thing however, it could have negative effects as well. Upgrades can make items inaccessible, unless you're exceptionally lucky.

Armor items can be upgraded to improve their effectiveness. For example, if you upgrade chests or helms it will boost its defense base while a belt and gloves will increase their strength and dexterity. Armor also has an option to reroll its Enhanced Defense percent, which means that it could reroll to a lower value.

The upgrade template of a weapon will show the new stats it will gain after upgrading along with the relative values of those stats. This means that a weapon will gain 33% attack damage when it is upgraded from an 8 attack damage sword to an 11 attack damage sword. However the 3% does not mean that it will hit for 3 times less often as it is an absolute statistic.

A weapon can also be rerolled using the green button with arrows that circle in the menu for items. This will roll the item upgrader mod and alter its stats but it won't reset the weapon's level nor tie it to the account status.

Armor

Making a few improvements to your armor could make a huge differences in your ability to survive. Certain sets offer massive increases in resistance to poison, curses and fire as well as magic. This makes it easier to navigate difficult areas. In general, the greater defense your character has the more value you will get from every point of health you possess therefore it is important to upgrade your armor as much as possible.

You can upgrade your armor by visiting any of the Great Fairy Fountains. There are four fountains in all and each one requires you to complete a specific side quest that involves the Stable Trotters musical troupe. Once you've completed the main quest and the associated fountains, you'll be able to talk to any Great Fairy in order to unlock the armor upgrade menu.

The amount of materials required to upgrade each piece of armor will vary. It is possible to use anything from three Red Chuchu jellies and 10 Rupees to upgrade your first armor piece, and anywhere between five Rubies or ten Fire-Breath Lizalfos Horns to upgrade each subsequent one. For example the Champion Leathers could be upgraded to +5 defense, allowing you to keep up with a good-sized group of adversaries in most cold climates and the Snowquill Headdress can be upgraded all the way to +20 defense, providing the protection needed to survive the full-on assault with a few of your friends.

Note that armor can't be upgraded in the same manner as weapons, so you'll have to focus on enhancing it to increase physical strength if you're a Warrior or Spell Power in the case of a Mage. It is recommended to save your armor upgrades to upgrade the armor you'll still be wearing at the end of the story, for example the Ring of Lightning, Spectral Shield or the mask you'll wear in the final boss fight, the Monter Parts Merchant Mask.

You can also get some perks for your armor by presenting the jeweler in Gerudo Town 10 Twinkling Titanite. In general, you should save these upgrades for the weapon you'll be using to win the game, such as the Longsword, Battleaxe or Warhammer, but it can be beneficial to have a few upgrades to your chest armor and helmets to permit you to sneak past some monsters.

Potions

Potions are liquids that, when consumed by the player, give a temporary effect. There are five kinds of potions, each with different effects and durations. Some potions may be upgraded, increasing the effectiveness of their effects. Additionally, the effects of some potions can be enhanced by adding redstone or glowstone dust them.

Upgrades to your potion require a specific amount XP. This can be obtained by crafting them on a table, or by storing them in the Alchemist chest. The upgrade price varies depending on the type of potion and the item's rarity as well as Mark Level.

To upgrade a potions you need to right-click it in your inventory. Select "Upgrade" from the menu. This will open a GUI that allows you to select the potion you wish to upgrade, and the amount of experience they'll offer when upgraded. The upgrade of potions can be completed in batches of up to five at a time, and the XP they provide will be added to your current XP level.

Once a potion is upgraded, it won't degrade until you use it again or break the bottle it is stored in. You can also rename the potion by clicking on it in your inventory.

There were some changes to the mechanics of potion in version 1.7.2. For example splash potions now have a duration of 0.08 seconds (this is not the same as 22.5 seconds displayed on the item upgrader mod hover display). The table of potion can now be constructed using four Wood Planks and two Glass. This allows it to be used by players playing Survival and Bedrock. Bedrock Edition potions aren't compatible with cauldrons like Java Edition. This is the same for the use of a potion in a cauldron that is full. This will deplete the liquid, and then refill the bottle.

There are also simmering potions that are made using dragon breath and splash potions. Similarly, a lingering potions effect can be extended by adding redstone to it. The table of potions is laid out more in line with the Java Edition, and new potions were added, such as potion of leaping, potion of decomposition, and turtle master potions.

Trinkets

A trinket could be a small, inexpensive ornament or piece jewelry. It may be a reference to a piece of art or a decoration that serves a purpose but is not particularly significant, such as a tiny thimble. In certain cultures, a trinket is used to symbolize affection or friendship, particularly between family members.

In addition to weapons, armor and potions, players are able to upgrade their trinkets. These can be upgraded by visiting an upgrade vendor and paying the appropriate currency. Unlike other item upgrades trinkets are able to be traded out at any time without losing their status.

Upgrade vendors are located at the capitals of every zone and in some cases in dungeons. Upgrades for trinkets can be purchased with gold, tokens or fragments of a rare trinket.

The upgrade of a trinket can be a cost-effective alternative to purchasing an entirely new one. A player can upgrade their trinket for as little as 12 tokens. The new trinket has the same base level as the old trinket, however, it will also come with an additional bonus of 1% upgrade.

Trinkets can be upgraded once they are not needed, allowing a player to boost their power and value over time. They can also be traded between players, making them an extremely popular alternative to gold.

In general players should upgrade their most important items first. This usually refers to the most valuable-in-slot items for their class, followed by their secondary items and finally, other items of gear will not be replaced soon (for example, a ring or cloak). When choosing which items to upgrade, players should also be aware of their class's preferred statistics. If Haste and Crit are two of the most important stats to a tank player then they should consider upgrading their helm, chest and shoulders.

After they've become unusable trinkets can be upgraded to a higher level. The new trinket has an additional bonus of 1. A re-upgrade, however, will destroy the trinket unless it can be salvaged with the Black Lion Salvage Kit, or a higher tier salvage tool. This makes upgrading trinkets more expensive than other upgrades, yet is still cheaper than purchasing a new one.
