This is one of Chicco's most expensive options, but it is packed with lots of features. It's designed to be used as an individual side sleeper or standalone crib, and is suitable for babies up to six months. It comes with a new mechanism to open and close the side panel and is easy to use even with one hand. Our testers were impressed with the simple access to the side panel that can be lowered and raised by pressing a button. This was particularly useful during nighttime feedings as they could reach in and pick up their baby without disturbing them up.
The side panel can be lifted by itself, too, but it's not advised as it increases the chance of your
baby bedside sleeper falling out of the cot. However, the patented safety locking mechanism guarantees that it can only remain in place if it is connected to the bed of the parent correctly. This is a wonderful feature to have for peace mind, especially if you're breastfeeding and require frequent nighttime feedings.

The Next2Me Magic was easy to use and set up for our test subjects, even with the lengthy instruction manual. It's a bit heavier than other side-sleepers but it can still be easily moved from one room to another. It can also be folded up into its travel bag, which is great for those who want to transport it. The only downside our testers noticed was that the side panel did not flex as much as the other models, which made it a little harder to see your baby from your own bed.
