1. Baby Jogger City Tour Double
The City Tour 2
double infant strollers is the smallest double stroller in the Baby Jogger range. It is designed for travel, and can fit through standard doorways easily with its narrow and slim design. It's also among the lightest double buggies available that weighs just 14lbs when folded. It's perfect for traveling with a toddler and infant as you won’t over-exceed airline baggage allowances. It also folds to the size of a backpack and can be tucked away in the back of your car when it's not in use.
It's simple to fold the Z-shape using one hand. Once you've gotten used to it, it is small and takes only a few seconds. However our tester discovered the auto lock to be a bit confusing. Also, since the handlebar isn't locked into position when you press it, it hit her legs when she used it. She also thought the handlebar was on the short side. This is particularly true when a large change bag hangs from it.
This double stroller is not as lightweight as other travel buggies. It has a full range of features, and is among the most versatile double strollers available on the market. It's compatible with two carry cots (available separately), has multiple recline positions and a UV 50+ canopy. You can even add the bassinet to either or both seats to transform it into a travel set-up.
The four rubber composite tires are great for pavements and urban terrain. However, they were not designed for off-roading. They had trouble with long grass and gravel and there was not enough clearance between the wheel bracket and wheel, so mud stuck easily. However our testers still enjoyed the buggy and did manage to climb some pretty muddy hills.

Our testers noted that the Nipper Double was incredibly easy to maneuver, even walking on uneven ground or when turning swiftly in the middle of a busy street. The fact that the seats can be reclined independently was also a big hit.
The hoods were also easy to adjust for wind or sun protection. They did not offer as much coverage as the Baby Jogger City Mini Hoods. It's worth having an additional rain cover in the case.
Overall, our test participants loved the way the Nipper Double made it possible for them to take their twins Sydney and Lyla on all sorts of adventures, from spotting wildlife in the woods, to running to the park to play with their friends. The testers were also awed by how spacious and comfortable the two seats are. There's plenty of room for toddlers who are growing. Our testers did mention, however, that the lack of a parent-facing seating and the inability of using car seats in the buggy was a disadvantage and they would like to see more storage space for shopping and other gear.
